Pellet Handling and Dust Collection System for a Wood Pellet Processing Facility

We collaborated with an engineering firm on a wood pellet processing facility to design a comprehensive pellet handling and dust collection system, supported by a robust steel platform. This project required a blend of technical precision and practical on-site considerations.

Our process included multiple site visits, a complete survey of the existing infrastructure, and meetings with engineers, customers, and installation crews. This thorough approach ensured our designs were aligned with the facility’s operational needs.

Using SolidWorks, we developed key components, including a custom pellet mill stand with a specialized negative air box for dust control, a sturdy silo platform, and a bridge cable tray for organized cable management. Additionally, we designed a dust collection system to maintain air quality and meet safety standards.
